Gas Turbine Operation Improvement with Multi-Emission Catalyst

Cormetech Logo

Power and industrial markets using gas turbines in simple and combined cycle modes are rapidly changing and facing new obstacles presented by solar and wind power generation, as well as an ever fluctuating gas price market. In many cases, gas turbine plants are increasingly asked to run at lower loads and start more often, while still meeting strict air permit limitations and reduce overall maintenance costs.

Nearly every facility facing these challenges is accessing the capability of their existing emissions control equipment and exploring the possibility of retrofitting the system to add further NOx, CO and/or VOC functionality.  CORMETECH’s METEOR™ is an advanced single layer multi-emission catalyst catering to these retrofits which overcomes these challenges by simultaneously reducing NOx, oxidizing CO & VOCs to compliance levels, while minimizing NH3 slip, downstream fouling and substantially reduced pressure loss.

In this informative webinar, Dan Johnson, Director of Business Development from CORMETECH, will discuss the evaluation methods used to determine how to apply CORMETECH METEORTM and the connected benefits to implementing this technology with real world case studies and examples.

Topics covered will be:

  • Retrofit Applications and space considerations when considering Multi-Emission catalyst
  • Reducing SO3 generation
  • Reduction of fouling generation by installing multi-emission catalyst vs a CO oxidation catalyst
  • Making operational improvements

Who Should Attend:

  • Plant Owners
  • Plant Managers
  • Plant and Corporate Environmental Engineers
  • Corporate Engineering Management
  • AE Firms
  • HRSG OEMs

This webinar can help you make informed decisions about flexible and economic alternatives for reducing NOx, CO and VOCs emissions.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions which will be covered during the Q&A session of the webinar.
